Glendale Warehouse is a family owned and operated entity proudly servicing the spice and food trade for forty years, providing transportation and warehouse distribution services to the food and spice community. The company is currently run by second and third generation family members along with loyal and courteous staff who maintain vested interests in the success and continued growth of our operation.
Glendale Warehouse and Distribution Corp. was established in 1977 by our founder James Collette Sr. in Glendale, Queens, New York. He began operating a trucking company serving the tri-state area, eventually opening several warehouse facilities in Queens and Brooklyn before relocating to Port Newark, New Jersey in 1995.
Glendale Warehouse moved to Edison, New Jersey in 2007 where we currently own/lease and operate three food grade facilities. The flagship Edison facility is 256,000 square feet located at 742 Old Post Road where we accommodate spices from prominent local, national and international spice and food importers and traders. Our second Edison facility is 77,800 square feet located at 55 Carter Drive, which stores mostly finished food products along with other non-odorous food items. The third facility which is 45,000 square feet and it is conveniently located across the street at 76 Carter Drive. More recently Glendale purchased a beautiful 345,000 square foot building with 40’ height clearance in Eastampton New Jersey which affords Glendale the ability to grow in the food and spice industry. This pristine building sits on a 28 acre property, with over 150 trailer parking locations and the interior of the building is predominately racked and has 54 loading docks available.
As of March 2021, three of the four Glendale Warehouse locations in Edison are designated as Free Trade Zone Facilities.
